Over the years I've been lucky enough to make some very talented friends. Sometimes those talented friends and I make some really cool stuff together.
Each year, MullenLowe WSNC would have a party and give out superlatives to folks around the agency. These superlatives had names (The Flamethrower, the Executioner, etc.). In the past they’d done quick video bumpers for each award so of course when they asked me to concept some, I asked, “Can we just make a whole movie instead?” I’d written the script before we ever asked the question. That script became Work Work, Bang Bang.
When some friends in Nashville asked if I wanted to be in the music video they were producing, I jumped at the chance. What ensued was a crash course in how to put together a gorgeous and well-executed story in no time, with little to no budget, all while taking care of everyone involved. I also got to live my life long dream of being a pro wrestler, even if my in-ring debut was left on the cutting room…mat.
